Manual Therapy and Spinal Mobilisation
Manual Therapy and Spinal Mobilisation in Gujrat
Manual therapy involves hands-on techniques that may help ease pain and improve movement. These can include gentle joint mobilisation and soft-tissue techniques, selected according to your symptoms, preferences and assessment.

What it involves
We assess your movement and relevant medical history before recommending treatment. Joint mobilisation uses controlled movements within a comfortable range. Spinal manipulation, where appropriate and provided by a suitably trained clinician, involves a brief, controlled thrust.
Your physiotherapist explains the proposed technique, potential benefits, risks and alternatives. Hands-on treatment is combined with exercises and practical advice to help you use any improvement in everyday activity.
Good to know
Treatment does not push a slipped disc back into place or permanently “realign” your spine. A clicking sound is not proof of success. Manipulation has risks, particularly in the neck, and is not appropriate for every patient. Gentler techniques or exercise-based alternatives can be discussed.
When it may be considered
- Selected cases of back pain and stiffness.
- Restricted movement affecting everyday tasks.
- Certain neck or joint-related symptoms after assessment.
